Mirgorod JSC Armaprom was established in 1946. In the period of 1966-1975 the factory was reconstructed and over profiled into a plant, manufacturing stop, and safety valves made of corrosion-resistance steel.

Now the plant produces industrial pipe line valves, which find wide application on both gas and oil producing complexes, in chemical, pharmaceutical, power, food and other branches of a national economy.

In third quarter of the year 2002 was put into operation a steel converter with energy-saving technology of gaseous-oxygen refining (GOR), which allows to receive steel grades such as 02Х18Н11, 03Х17Н13М2Т, 03Х20Н16АГ6, 03Х24Н6АМ3, 04Х15С(Т) etc. — unique acid-proof and precision steel grades for the manufacture of new generation of armature — considerably more durable, having the broadest range of application.

The consumers of this new production will be the enterprises working in the field of oil and gas producing and processing in Ukraine, the CIS countries, customers from Great Britain and The United States. The engineering design of the GOR plant has been registered in the priority list of the innovation projects with the Ministry of industrial policy of Ukraine.

The repair works of valves of nominal diameters DN from 10 up to 150 mm with operating pressure from 1,6 up to 20,0 MPa, are carried out in a site allocated in the subsidiary branch. The test laboratory JSC Armaprom, accredited in the system of certification Certifying Center NASTHOL, will carry out tests of various kinds of pipeline valves.

The production of the JSC Armaprom meets the requirements of the normative-engineering specifications, hygienic norms, is safe in operation and for the environment, has been certified by the JSC CC NASTHOL and by the system of quality ISO 9001.
