Closed JSC “Promarmatura” was founded on 16^th of December 1994. The founders of the company are Igor Valerjevich Mezhebovskiy (General director) and Alexandr Mihaylovich Chelyadin (Chairman of the board of directors). Its activity as a company making complete set deliveries JSC Promarmatuta started with a small team supplying pipe-line valves produces by JSC Zaporozhskiy valve plant.

First successful steps determined further direction of activity. Soon business interests of young company came across the biggest producer and supplier of pipe-line valves and equipment — Machine building corporation SPLAV (Velikiy Novgorod) and its leader, one of the founders of modern valve construction, legendary Yevgeniy Shulman.

This priceless experience proved to be useful for JSC “Promarmatura” in the nearest future. The same year 1994 JSC “Promarmatura” concluded its first contract with Navoysk Mining and steel works, with this enterprise we have been working up to the present days. Work with such a giant was a good education: we learned to react promptly and flexibly to all demands of the company, to work efficiently when time is calculated not even in days but in hours, to find individual approach, which was dictated by specific character of production. During the years of cooperation there have been many losses, difficulties and disappointment, but there also have been much more of real partnership and cooperation, trust and mutual understanding.

In that period company had several principal partners, on which basic activity of the enterprise was focused:

• Navoysk mining and steel Works;
• Production Unit RUE Belaruskaliy;
• JSC Norilskiy Nickel;
• JSC Ust-Ilimskiy LPK.

Understanding the necessity of development of the company, the shareholders gathered a new team of management. The task set for the new stuff was not easy. Without any loss of tempo and quality in the work with existent key clients it was necessary to widen and optimize the structure of the enterprise, to create a company that would be able with permanent quality and reliability to show rapid growth of volumes and widening of geography of products deliveries. Valve enterprises, that became a part of JSC “Promarmatura”, bringing the status of manufacturer demanded from the company at the same time to solve new economic tasks and become aware of absolutely new level…and social responsibility.

Due to the efforts of the company’s management, and also persistent work of all the stuff of JSC “Promarmatura”, very soon a new structure of the company was formed. JSC Promarmatura found an opportunity to work more efficiently in the field of design, manufacture, storage and sales of pipe-line valves and equipment.

During the following five years the company had made the volumes of sales of pipe-line valves and equipment 10 times bigger, extending sales market. Thus today there are more than 130 enterprises on the territory of Ukraine which JSC “Promarmatura” supplies with pipe-line valve and equipment. Geography of deliveries also has become wider. Valves, produced on the enterprises of JSC “Promarmatura”, now work in any climates — from arctic to burning-hot Asian deserts, from inclement seas of far east to humid tropics of south-east Asia.

Commissioning in December 2000 new metallurgical complex for melting corrosion proof and special steel grades — Spetsstall GOR Works Ltd. — allowed to the company to master unique types of valves for chemically active mediums and to take leading position in this field. Qualitative changes in the work of JSC Promarmatura were marked by the certificate ISO — 9001. In 2003 in Dnepropetrovsk new interindustry base of complete set supplies was created, which for today is the biggest valve stock on the territory of CIS.

To make the work more effective in 2004 bonded warehouse was opened, there the products of leading manufacturers are stored. As required the products go though the custom clearance and can be delivered to consumers, that makes delivery time much shorter, enabling foreign producers to hold some reserve of equipment necessary for their work.

Priceless help in the work on foreign markets came from long years cooperation with JSC Saratovenergomashkomplekt, who supplied our partners with tens of thousand pieces of products manufactured by our plants.

Later opening of representative offices in Moscow, Republic of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Germany, foundation of complete set supplies stock in Belgorod allowed to the company to make the work on the markets of these countries more active. At the same time JSC Promarmatura received the status of exclusive representative on the territory of Ukraine from more than 20 leading manufacturers of pipe-line valves and equipment in CIS and distant foreign countries, that allows today to supply from the stock in Dnepropetrovsk any industrial enterprise on the post soviet territory.
