The Company Prommetiz Ltd., one of the enterprises of the closed Joint-Stock Company Promarmatura, is considered, today, the only Ukrainian manufacturer of low carbon wire. The company has installed a high-speed direct-flow mill with roller cartridges. For the first time this mill has been exhibited by German firm KOSH at exhibition WIRE 2002.

Today the following kinds of wire are produced and delivered:

• ВР-1 — low-carbon cold-drawn wire for reinforcing Ferro-concrete constructions of periodic structure, in diameter 3-5 mm, GOST 6727-80;
• ОК — low-carbon wire for general purpose, with out thermal treatment for the production of nails, railings etc, made of steel 3 пс, сп, diameter 2-6 mm, GOST 3282-74;
• ОН — low-carbon wire for general purpose, with out thermal treatment for the production of nails, railings etc, made of steel 1 пс (balanced steel), сп (killed steel), diameter 2-6 mm, GOST 3282-74;
• OK т/о — low-carbon wire for general purpose, with thermal treatment for baling, packaging etc., in diameter 2-6 mm, GOST 3282-74;
• СВ08 — low-carbon steel welding wire, for welding head and welding die manufacture, in diameter 2-5 mm, GOST 2246-70.

The wire in diameter from 2 up to 6 mm is delivered in skeins (hanks) from 50 up to 2000 kg. There are different types of possible packing — skein, bobbin or hank. The wire is strapped with steel tape with crane rings for lifting, and the skeins with more than a ton have also transporting tying.
